Sergio Baron says:
“There is reason to believe that since the early nineteenth century a Baron family was working with her children in the field of iron and beat in building steelyards (staffile).
We know for sure that in the mid -1800s, under the vaults of the Palladian Basilica overlooking Piazza della Erbe, there was the workshop of staderaio Vittorio which operated until late in life even with construction of “weigh wagons” for municipalities Vicentini.
Alongside his brother Riccardo , great-grandfather of the current generation that carries the name, was working well in Vicenza. Of these was the last workshop of Via “LUNA” in front of Casa Pigafetta.
From the beginning of last century we find and we follow the story of the life and works of Giuseppe ( classe 1879).
In the years before the Great War was already busy with his company of scales and weighing machines; of these he personally supervised the sale. “Giseppe walked down the Veneto region to spread its products, initially on the bike, then in command of a motorcycle triumph.
“Looking for new products and new markets Giuseppe went to Germany by visiting fairs and searching for new samples.”
Giuseppe designed and disseminated during his interesting measurement systems activities: l'”delivers milk”, measuring device the amount of milk in the sale to private; the “pycnometer” system for determining the specific weight of cereals, designed and produced during the “wheat battle” promoted by the fascist regime in 1925.
The company Baron in those early decades of the 900 had also won the maintenance of weighing systems wool mill Marzotto Group and the National Sugar Eridania.
The advent of World War II led to a period of great difficulty for the country as well as for the company. The young people were called to arms, the market froze, the bombing destroyed goods and infrastructure. Inflation knelt trade and the recovery of the company Baron was long and difficult.
Giuseppe passed the company to turn to his son Sergio, born in 1921, which still sits at the desk of the Baron and type the story of this family on his trusty typewriter.

Sergio worked to grow the company constantly updating the products that were transformed by technology rapidly in technology and electronics. Studies were precursors of LOAD CELLS that many years later, they found practical use in weighing systems.”
SERGIO led the company for many years, by engaging in the purchase of building plots and the construction of a large building in which to develop the brand. In the sixties they entered the company ‘s children Sergio, Andrea and Giuseppe, dividing the company into two branches, the weighing and the refrigeration.
Now we come to the modern history.
In the field of weighing, after the split, The BARON SRL has continued to operate in the field of industrial weighing, bringing innovation and modernization of systems.
In 1993 comes Pesi Srl branch of BARON SRL devoted exclusively to the post – sale of any weighing system Industrial service. Many years of experience gained by all the staff, even with previous work experience with leading manufacturers of weighing equipment, the knowledge of the most advanced technology and the high availability of equipment and resources, allowing the company to address any issues relating to the installation and care of instruments and weighing systems for companies operating in all sectors of production.
The company primarily active in the supply of performance and installation services, service, maintenance, calibration, testing and periodic metric verification of mechanical and electronic scales and industrial weighing systems of any brand with the marketing of spare parts and special equipment for weighing, of any brand and type.
In 2014 the management decided to reimburse together the historical brand BARON and PESI SRL originating the current BARON PESI SRL.
